HH & MR

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment assists the school for the HH & MR. The School is providing comprehensive rehabilitative and educational services for the HH & MR children for integration of these children in the society. Total 148 HH & MR children are enrolled in the school during 2018-2019. The institute is providing transportation facilities to the students from different areas of Patna.

National Institute Open Schooling

NIOS has recognised J.M. Institute as the centre for secondary education in Bihar for children with disabilities No school at the level of secondary education for the children with disabilities in the state of Bihar. The school was also proposed for the senior secondary education. It is a great achievement and also a landmark in the history of education to the children with disability in the state of Bihar.
NIOS is established with a view to extend education through Distance Education methodologies to those who do not and cannot attend regular Schools. The syllabus prescribed by the NIOS is almost identical to CBSE. The course is recognized by state education Board/CBSE.ICSE Board. The exam is conducted twice in a year.
Girls & Women, SC/ST, Physically and Mentally Challenged persons and Ex- Serviceman are exempted from payment of full admission fee. They pay fee at a reduced rate. There is no age limit. NIOS has given the permission to start vocational courses. The school has started Tailoring, Beautician & Computer Training course through NIOS.
Total No. of 54 students appeared this year for Xth board of school of JMISH in the Session 2018-19. All students are Hearing impaired, cerebral palsy, Learning Disability & slow learners.

Vocational Training (Accredited to NIOS)

Through this training the school is providing vocational training like beautician, tailoring, computer courses, Dress making etc. All students are Hearing impaired, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disability, & Slow Learner.
